Notre Dame Throwback Script Vintage Heavyweight Tee
We’ve never seen a vintage script that we don’t like, including this unique, ‘70s-era Notre Dame script that we recreated and gave some slight updates. In a different world, the “Fighting Irish” in the tail could have been any number of nicknames, including the Rovers, Ramblers, or Blue Comets. How they settled on the Fighting Irish is unclear – it’s been attributed to raucous Northwestern fans, the University of Illinois’ then-president, and the legacy of the Irish Brigade in the Civil War.
