Penn State Nittany Lions Script Hoodie
The Nittany Lion isn’t really a mountain lion species, but rather the stuff of legend. Before Penn State baseball played Princeton in 1904, a Princeton player pointed out their Tiger statue on campus, suggesting Penn State would get treated as ruthlessly as a tiger treats its prey. Third baseman Harrison “Joe” Mason wasted no time in response, inventing a fearsome mountain lion who lived atop Mount Nittany; this so-called Nittany Lion, according to Mason’s retort, had “never been beaten in a fair fight.”
